Debora York (Vice President)

Debora York has been part of the Waterfront family since 2016 and a Waterfront School Foundation Board as Member-at-Large since 2020. She is a theatre performer, director, producer, and educator. Debora is the Board President of the Board of Directors of Group Dot BR - NY's only Brazilian theatre company. She currently serves as Co-Chair for the Gilder/Coigney International Theatre Awards as part of the League of Professional Theatre Women. Debora has volunteered in the past as a Class Parent and as a Yoga instructor for our recent WFM Virtual Yoga class. Her son, Gustavo Ulysses York, is in the WFM Upper Elementary program.

Cristina Wager (Treasurer)

Cristina has been a member of the WFM Community since 2010. She is currently a music and theater teacher at WFM. She is excited to volunteer for the WSF as the Treasurer. She has experience in bookkeeping and accounting especially with the WSF Xero accounting software.

 

Jessica Goddard (Member-At-Large)

Jessica Goddard has been part of the Waterfront family since 2018 and is a transformational consultant, writer and mother to Naya and Julian, both of whom are part of the WFM Primary program. During her 15-year-career, she has contributed to every aspect of Communications and has come to savor putting the human experience into words, seeking and reveling in the very best that highlights the good in ourselves and in each other. She is committed to everything that lifts humanity in the world of health, wellness, social impact and self-and-organizational transformation. Through her published work, as well as her workshops, Jessica is quickly becoming a thought leader for the next generation. She holds a Masters in Public Communications and a Bachelors in Journalism with a minor in Psychology from Fordham University in New York City. As the Board Vice President of the Sugar House at Liberty Cove, she is a proud member of the Paulus Hook Jersey City community where she lives with her husband, the two kids and lab mix.

 

Emily Ortiz (Member-At-Large)

Emily is new to the WFM Community. She is returning to New Jersey from California after many years. She is a parent of a new WFM Upper Elementary student and a graduate of Montclair State University. She is not only a parent at WFM but also a new member of the WFM Administrative team. She hopes to connect with the WFM parent community as a WFS Board Member.
