What is the Membership Commitment?
(When I Become A Member What Am I Agreeing To do)
Membership is a choice and how active you become depends on you. Our goal is to provide various opportunities or commitment levels in an effort to encourage your participation.
Here are 3 powerful ways you can make an impact:
Time:
There is no set time commitment.
We appreciate any time you can spare. It can be in the form of volunteering to help or participating and attending WSF events. (See time committee continuum below)
Talent:
Share your skills. We are always looking for help in various areas.
A few examples: accounting, seamstress, blogging, social media, photographer, etc.
Treasure:
You want to help, but don’t have time.
We greatly appreciate your donations to help us achieve our goals.
Please use the link in the top right corner to donate. (Donations are tax-deductible)
What Is the Frequency of events/meetings?
WSF tries to have at least one event a month for parents. We often have additional events which also include the entire family or the community.
Members
Members are encouraged to attend as many events as they are comfortably able to.
Members are also strongly encouraged to attend our Annual meeting
Board Members
The Board typically meets once a moth to plan for upcoming events and fundraising
Committee Members
Committee Members typically touch base frequently via emails
Committee Meeting frequencies are determined on a need-basis and with the consensus of the group.
What Are the Various Levels of Involvement Available?
We believe everyone can do something! Here is our WSF Time Commitment Continuum. See what feels right for you and then jump in. We are happy you are here and we look forward to calling you a member!
