We are dedicated to organizing and funding activities that enrich the educational experience of students at Waterfront Montessori, while also fostering a strong, inclusive community where families can connect and thrive together.

We appreciate your generosity and want to ensure that your contributions make the most impact. Here are the different ways you can direct your funds:

1. General Fund

  • Supports overall operations and programs.

  • Impact: Provides flexibility to address immediate needs and opportunities as they arise.

2. Scholarship for Afterschool Activities

  • Funds after school programs such as First Lego League (FLL), music lessons, theater classes, and more for scholarship students.

  • Typical Expenses: $3,000 - $5,000 per semester.

  • Impact: Directly enhances educational and learning opportunities for scholarship students.

3. Enrichment Programs

  • Supports engaging activities like the Quiver Farms Chick Hatching Program, butterfly/ladybug life cycle projects, and museum visits.

  • Typical Expenses: $500 - $1,500 per event

  • Impact: Enriches the educational experience for the entire student body.

4. Musical Theatre

  • Funds musical theater initiatives, including:

    • Lower School: Supplies and props for Winter and Spring performances.

    • Upper School: Sponsorship for the annual school musical, covering space rental, costumes, and technical support through donations and playbill ads.

  • Typical Expenses: $500 - $14,000+

  • Impact: Enhances students’ confidence and creativity through the arts.

5.  Community Building

  • Sponsors community-building events, such as speaker series, snacks for Parents Night Out, Halloween Party, and activities like Yoga and Paint & Sip.

  • Typical Expenses: $300 - $1000 per event

  • Impact: Fosters a strong community, creating an environment of support and growth for the school.
