What is the Membership Commitment?
(When I Become A Member What Am I Agreeing To do)

Membership is a choice and how active you become depends on you. Our goal is to provide various opportunities or commitment levels in an effort to encourage your participation.

Here are 3 powerful ways you can make an impact:

  • Time:

    • There is no set time commitment.

    • We appreciate any time you can spare. It can be in the form of volunteering to help or participating and attending WSF events. (See time committee continuum below)

  • Talent:

    • Share your skills. We are always looking for help in various areas.

    • A few examples: accounting, seamstress, blogging, social media, photographer, etc.

  • Treasure:

    • You want to help, but don’t have time.

    • We greatly appreciate your donations to help us achieve our goals.

    • Please use the link in the top right corner to donate. (Donations are tax-deductible)

What Is the Frequency of events/meetings?

WSF tries to have at least one event a month for parents. We often have additional events which also include the entire family or the community.

Members

  • Members are encouraged to attend as many events as they are comfortably able to.

  • Members are also strongly encouraged to attend our Annual meeting

Board Members

  • The Board typically meets once a moth to plan for upcoming events and fundraising

Committee Members

  • Committee Members typically touch base frequently via emails

  • Committee Meeting frequencies are determined on a need-basis and with the consensus of the group.
